Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest and Seizure of Drugs

 

A traffic stop in Parsons leads to an arrest and seizure of illegal substances and paraphernalia.

 

At around 10:20pm on Monday, a Parsons Police officer saw a white Dodge Grand Caravan exiting a parking lot and committed a traffic violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Sir Christuffer Roeder, who had an expired driver's license and no current proof of insurance.

 

During a search of the vehicle, officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a firearm. The passenger, Kirstin Monjay, was also arrested. Roeder faces multiple charges including possession of methamphetamine and marijuana and driving without insurance and with an expired registration. Monjay faces charges for possession of marijuana. Roeder is also facing charges in a separate investigation of aggravated kidnapping, robbery, battery and assault.
