Four Law Enforcement Agencies Work Parsons Kidnapping and Robbery Case

 

A joint investigation leads to multiple arrests in a kidnapping and robbery case in Parsons.

 

On February 18th, a victim from Independence reported the incident. He said he was invited to a residence in Parsons, where four armed men confronted him. The victim was assaulted, stripped down, blindfolded and placed in the backseat of a vehicle. He was driven to a remote location in Labette County before being driven back into Parsons. The Parsons Police Department, Woodson County Sheriff's Office, Labette County Sheriff's Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol all worked the case.

 

Four arrests have been made charges have been filed for two more and one suspect remains at large. Christopher Hilton was arrested on March 4th, Daquan Edwards was arrested on March 5th, Alex Stevens was arrested on March 9th, Jacqulynn Jenkins, Stevens' girlfriend, was arrested on March 8th, and Christuffer Roeder is currently being held at the Parsons Police Lockup on other charges. The suspects face a range of charges, including aggravated kidnapping, robbery, battery and assault, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon, theft, criminal threat and felony interference. Nathaniel Steel remains at large with an outstanding Labette County Felony Warrant for his arrest. Robyn Bennett is also facing charges for aggravated kidnapping and robbery.
