Judy White

 

Judy (Nutter) Guiver White, 84, of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to heaven on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 

Judy was born on August 24, 1941, at Council Bluffs, Iowa to Eugene "Gene" and Ruth (Brown) Nutter. She grew up and attended school in Dearing, Kansas and graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville with the class of 1959.

 

After high school Judy attended Airline Training School in Omaha, Nebraska. Following her graduation in the 1960's, she went to work for Pan American Airlines in San Francisco, California.

 

In August 1961 she married Lester Guiver in San Mateo, California. They later moved to Beaumont, Texas where their son Jason was born in 1970.

 

Judy worked for Kelly Services in Beaumont, Texas, and Flintco in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1970's. She started working for American Airlines at Tulsa in 1979 where she continued to work until retiring. The marriage ended in divorce.

 

She married Don White in March 1982 and gained a stepdaughter Diann White Melin. The marriage ended in divorce.

 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Ruth Nutter, Lester Guiver, her sister Linda Harris and brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Harris.

 

Survivors include her son Jason Guiver and his wife Elizabeth; three grandsons, Landon, Logan, and Hudson and Logan's wife, Erin and great grandson, Gatlin. She has two nieces, Jill Evans and family and Jan Mathews and family.

 

Judy was a member of The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa.

 

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.

 

Judy loved people. She kept friends from her school years in Dearing in Coffeyville, friends in California and friends from her time spent in Texas. She maintained and sent updates to the Dearing class of 1959 throughout the years. She was making friends in her new independent retirement community after living in her home for 52 years.
