Barbara Jo Davis, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, peacefully at home in Neodesha, Kansas.
Barbara was born on June 26, 1959, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Glen and Lois (Eden) Durst. After graduating high school, she spent many years in service of others providing home healthcare. Her love of family was her greatest attribute. She was the rock of the family who gave the best advice and support.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Everett Neil Davis, of the home; mother, Lois Durst; daughter, Christi Heatly and husband, Rick of Cherryvale, Kansas; son, Derek Davis and wife, Kimberly of Cherryvale, Kansas; grandchildren, Taylor Davis, Jayden Ross, Lizzy, Nick, Becca Heatly, Bentley, Alec, Joei, Evelynn, and TyLeigh Davis; great-grandchildren, Kairi Wilkinson and Oakley River Rose. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Durst; daughter, JanNeil Davis-Clarkson and sister, Nancy Finney.
Following Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas.
The family will be holding a Memorial Service on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Christ Church of Neodesha 1001 Elm St. Neodesha, KS 66757.
