Donald "Donnie" Eugene Decker

Donald “Donnie” Eugene Decker, age 62, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Donnie was born on March 22, 1963, in Delta, Colorado to Paul and Dorothy (Klaus) Decker.  He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended local schools.  From a young age he started riding motorcycles and fell in love with them.  Through the years he attended countless motorcycle events, biker rallies, charity runs and road trips.  Donnie also liked to fish and was a gun enthusiast.

When it came time to work, Donnie started working construction for his dad, Paul, who owned and operated Decker Construction Co.  He caught on quickly and was good with his hands.  The crew stayed busy and completed projects all over Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

On June 15, 2018, he married his best friend, Dottie Jo Frederick in Miami, Oklahoma.  The couple made their home in rural Coffeyville.  They loved spending time together; it didn’t matter if it was sitting at home watching movies, a date night out or surrounded by family and friends, they just enjoyed doing life together.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his mother, Dorothy Decker; his loving wife, Dottie Decker of the home; his children, Alicia (Steve) Pauzauskie, Chase (Cynthia) Decker, Tara Decker, Tanner Vieyra, Cooper Evans; grandchildren, Peyton and Preslyn Pauzauskie, Donte (Baylee) Decker, Beckham, Leo, Brooks and Mack Decker, Devin Dalton; great grandson, Tavyn Decker; siblings, Julianne Schnoor, Theresa (Tim) Wells, Paula (Mike) Juinta, Rick (Joyce) Decker; lifelong best friend, Shorty Foreman along with numerous extended relatives and friends.  Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Paul Decker, his brother, Scott Decker and sister, Debra Lieswald.

Following Donnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.  No public services are scheduled at this time.  To share memories or leave a condolence for the family online, visit Donnie’s memorial page at www.dwbfh.com
