Altha "Bobbie" Belle Blunk

Although Bobbie never married or had children, she cherished her role as an aunt, forming special bonds with her nieces and nephews. She dedicated 32 years of her life working at Wal-Mart, where she took pride in her various roles and responsibilities. In her leisure time, Bobbie was an avid bowler, enjoying many tournaments alongside her father at local bowling alleys in Coffeyville and Cherryvale, where she earned several trophies. Bobbie also had a passion for photography, capturing the breathtaking landscapes of rural Labette County, as well as tending to her beloved flower gardens. Travel was another of her great joys; she particularly loved embarking on cruises and was always ready for an adventure. Bobbie found immense joy in sharing meals and spending quality time with her neighbors and family.

Bobbie is survived by her siblings: Sue Zimmerman (Kevin), John Blunk, and Beatrice Vermillion. She leaves behind a loving family that includes her nieces and nephews: Angela Zimmerman, John Zimmerman (Lauri), Jean Smith, Bobbie Jo Blunk, Linda Sue Towle, and Anthony Smith, along with numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Bobbie will also be remembered by her best four-legged friend, Buster, and a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Blunk and niece Amanda Jo Zimmerman.
