Rev. Eldon Ronald Bryce, a dedicated minister of the Gospel, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 18, 2025 after a prolonged illness.
Born on December 11, 1937, in Crane, Texas, Eldon lived his childhood years traveling with his family through the southern US - singing, playing instruments, preaching, and planting churches. His deep-rooted faith led him to become a traveling evangelist in his own right while still attending high school in Baton Rouge, LA.
Eldon was a man of many talents. With a daily radio program on KGGF in Coffeyville during the late 1960s and early 1970s, his voice resonated with sermon and song, touching hearts far and wide.
Eldon married Donna, his loving partner in life, on November 28, 1958. As their family began to grow, they together preached and sang, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 1964 they became pastors in the Coffeyville, KS area. Then in the early 1980s they felt a calling to help the impoverished people of Haiti. Together they established “Feed A Child” as a mission organization, and spent the next 35 years in Haiti developing schools, feeding programs, medical clinics, and managing a Christian radio station.
Eldon is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Bryce; sons, Ron (Lydia) Bryce and David (Melissa) Bryce; grandchildren, Daniel (Anna) Bryce, Blair (Tell) Wyrick, Joseph Bryce, and Brooke (Ricky) Bakker. He has five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Jewell Bryce; brothers, Marvin, Donald, and Dale Bryce; and sisters, Hazel Mathis and Dorothy Bradshaw.
In the words of Psalms 116:15, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” We celebrate the earthly journey of Eldon Bryce, who lived his life with love, passion, dedication, and faith.
