Larry J Corle 85 of Coffeyville passed away January 7, 2025. Larry was born to Richard Alfred and Mabel Geren Corle on September 30, 1939, in Caney, Kansas. Larry attended school in Caney and Longton and graduated from Elk Falls High School in 1957. At 18 Larry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving four years. He traveled to Okinawa and Japan and returned to Psalms, CA. In 1962 Larry married Betty Lee Tuck at the Baptist Church in Moline, KS. In Moline he worked for Martin Marietta and DeWayne Triboulet. In 1964 Larry and Betty welcomed a son Larry Steven and in 1969 a daughter Brenda Lee. The young family moved to Coffeyville where they made their home in 1969, Larry found employment with Funk Manufacturing, now John Deere. He devoted 30 years of service before retiring. Larry Graduated from Coffeyville Technology and Coffeyville Community College. Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Betty, son Steve and Kathy Corle, daughter Brenda and Leland Grooms, four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Fist Baptist Church in Coffeyville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Dick Smith officiating. Interment will be held at the Elk Falls Cemetery 1:30pm in Elk Falls, KS. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the Salvation Army Service Volunteers Coffeyville, and they may be left with or sent in care of David W.
