Robert "Bob" Booth

Robert "Bob" Booth, 76, of Coffeyville passed away on July 17, 2024, at his home.

 

Robert was born to Ivan and Norma Booth in Wellington, Ks on May 24th, 1947.  Bob had brothers and sisters all preceding him in death except for brother David Booth of Colbert, Ok. He grew up in Wellington eventually attending Prairie View College where he also played competitive football.

 

Robert moved to the Coffeyville area in 1985, where he met and married Judy Pfister, until Judy's passing in 2001.  Bob first began working for the Union Pacific railroad, unfortunately due to injury, he retired from the railroad and embarked on a career in Law Enforcement.  For the next 12 years Bob was a Montgomery County Deputy Sheriff working various positions throughout his career, always developing lasting relationships along the way.

 

In 2003 Bob married Joanne Hallum and they enjoyed 20 years of marriage until Joanna’s passing in 2022.

 

Bob enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, physical fitness, cross country bicycling, shooting with friends, and traveling to places throughout the US.

 

 

A memorial service celebrating Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, October 12th, at 2 p.m.  in Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville with Chaplain Keith Springer with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice officiating.
