Patricia

Patricia “Patsy” Anne Pippin, age 79, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her home in Webb City, Missouri, with her children and sister by her side.

 

Patsy was born on September 28, 1944, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Eugene and Edith (Carter) Cochran.  She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School. 

 

In addition to raising her kids, Patsy was a hard worker.  She owned and operated a bait shop.  Over the years she also worked at Hardee’s, the City of Coffeyville as a police dispatcher, at the CRMC snack shop, owned and operated the Bait Shop, and Family Dollar, before finally retiring from Casey's.  Patsy enjoyed playing Bingo, shooting pool and playing in pool leagues, bowling, going to the lake and fishing. 

 

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Laresa Lukens and husband, Roy of Coffeyville, Kansas, Gary Pippin of Webb City, Missouri, grandchildren, Sara Lukens (Christopher Robb), Samantha Stair (Corey), great grandchildren, Jayra, Ashton and Skylar Davis, Tyler, Carsen, Cloey and Caylee Stair; her sister, Linda Pippin of Owasso, Oklahoma along with many extended relatives and friends. 

 

Following Patsy’s wishes, cremation is to take place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. 

 

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Patio at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.  Pastor Albertis Bray of Southview Church of God will officiate.

 

Friends may sign the register book on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
