Norma Lou Kneedler

Norma Lou Kneedler, 90, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Midland.

 

She was born on January 6, 1934, in Camdenton, Missouri to Presley and Eunice (Looney) Gregory.  Norma grew up and attended school in Camdenton graduating from Camdenton High School.

 

On May 8, 1954, she married Robert Lee Kneedler at Camdenton, Missouri. Following their marriage they made their home in Lebanon, Missouri before moving to Arlington, California. In 1956 they moved to Coffeyville when Robert began working at Farmland Refinery. Her husband preceded her in death on November 11, 2012.

 

Norma was a member of Bible Baptist Church and Past President and longtime member of CRMC Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Survivors include her son, Jim Kneedler (Marjean Hendryx) grandchildren, Chris Kneedler, Corey Kneedler, Curtis Hendryx and Cory Hendryx.

               

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Violet Lain and Bernadine Huckaby, and one brother, Dale Gregory.

 

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville with Pastor Daniel Knight officiating.

 

Friends may call on Monday, April 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

 

The family suggests memorials to CRMC Auxiliary or Bible Baptist Church; contributions may left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
