Ruby Louise Walker, a spirited, reliable, and funny soul, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 81. Born on January 1, 1942 to Lonnie and Emma Thompson (Muller) , in Liberty, KS. Ruby was a beacon of joy, resilience, and humor. She lived her life with an infectious energy that was impossible not to love, and her laughter was music to the ears of those fortunate to know her.
Ruby was a woman of many talents, but her favorite pastime was going to the casinos with Deb and playing Bingo with her mother. Ruby is survived by her sister MaryAnn Guier, her loving children Rhonda Hibbard (Mike), Deborah Brubaker, Howard Walker, Jr. and Michelle Bussen (Chris), eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who will continue to honor their mother's legacy by living their lives with the same spirited tenacity and sense of humor that Ruby demonstrated throughout her life.
