Richard Dwayne Morgan passed away at the age of 57 on January 31, 2023 at his home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

 

Richard was born on December 9, 1965, in Los Angeles, California to Richard and Barbara (Medsker) Morgan.  He spent his yearly childhood years growing up in Riverside California relocated to Coffeyville with his family in 1981.  Soon after moving to Coffeyville, he started junior high school at Roosevelt Jr. High.

 

In 1984 Richard met the love of his life Michael Loveless and the have shared 38 years together, not only in life but as co-workers and owner and operators of R&M Cleaning.  They had 4 dogs CoCo, Chase, Poppy and Trump that they loved as their children.

 

Richard started working straight out of school and worked at Spears Manufacturing from 1984 to 1989.  In 2008 he began working for Brass Hat Cleaning until 2020. In 2020 he and Michael became owners of R&M Cleaning and he continued to work up until his health recently failed.   

 

Richard loved working in the yard, he enjoyed planting flowers, caring for out door plants and keeping a well-manicured yard.  He also enjoyed elaborately decorating their yard for holidays.  Richard had a great love of animals especially his dog’s and the rabbits he raised.  He loved to gamble and to fish.  Fishing was a little like gambling because you never knew if you were going to succeed or not.

 

Richard is survived by the love of his life, Michael their 4 dogs and a host of friends.
