Rhonda Kay Elizabeth "Nonie" Treece, 63 of Coffeyville, KS passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

 

Rhonda was born May 14, 1959 in Salina, KS the daughter of Harper and Agnes (Dodson) Treece. Rhonda graduated in Denver, CO she made Coffeyville her home in 1980. she attended Coffeyville Community Community College where she earned her associates degree in business administration. She found employment with AIW where she worked for 10 years and worked many other jobs.  Rhonda loved to be outside, she enjoyed camping, fishing, and having fun. She also enjoyed going to the casino.

 

She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and Maw Maw.

 

Preceding her in death are her parents, and her first born son, Sean Lee.

 

Rhonda leaves behind her daughter LaQuia Treece and her son Robert Hardrick, 12 grandchildren; Diamond, Sean, Ja'Coury, Shyaira, and D'Mon  of LaQuia; Julian, Ezmae, Da'Mick, Kalvin, Langston, Khylon, and Dotti of Robert and her life long friend of 43 years Annette Porter and her children Tamara, Byron, LaTrisha, and Anneka and hosts of other family and friends.

 

A home going memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11:00am at the First Church of God in Christ with Reverend Melvin Simpson officiating the service. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the COPD Foundation and they may be sent in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Road Coffeyville, KS 67337.
