Daniel Rea, age 72, of Coffeyville, KS passed away on July 24, 2022, at his home.
Danny was born in Parsons on March 17, 1950, to Loren and Esther (Beason) Rea. He attended local elementary schools, Roosevelt Junior High and graduated from Field Kindley High School.
On January 6, 1975, he was united in marriage to Julia Cambron and they were blessed with three children and then later divorced. Danny enjoyed being a father and a grandfather.
Danny was employed at Cook Pump Company as a mechanic and maintenance.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Jesse Rea, Marilyn Burton, and Emily Rea, his grandchildren; Nathan Rea, Matthew Burton, Madilyn Walker, T.J. McIntire, Duane Watson, and Cayman Foulk, great-grandchildren; Blakelyn Walker, Chris Leforte, and Willy Leforte, his siblings; Marilyn Horner, David Rea, and Ivan Rea.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His family will host a memorial service Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville, at 12:00 pm., with his brother-in-law, Jim Horner presiding. Following Danny’s wishes cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
