Sandra L. "Sandy" Jenkins

Sandra L. “Sandy” Jenkins of Dearing, KS died May 25th, 2022, she passed away peacefully at her home following a brief illness.
Sandy was born, November 2,1939 to Harold & Mildred (Palmer) Rogers in Independence, Kansas.
As a young girl she lived in and around Coffeyville, and Dearing and attended West Coffeyville elementary and graduated from Independence KS High School.
In 1969 she married Waymon Waller. She had two sons, Jerry Waller of Tulsa, OK and Wallace Waller of Florida. The couple later divorced.
In 1968 she married William “Odell” Jenkins.
In their early years, she and Odell were owner operator and over the road truck drivers, Sandy was very proud of that.
In her later years she was employed by Walmart Super Center of Coffeyville, KS until her retirement.
She loved to go camping, fishing and loved her dog “Little Red”.
Survivors include, her husband Odell of the home, a stepdaughter Gerri Smith and her husband Gail of Rio Hondo, TX, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, cousins, and extended family members.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, a brother Richard Dick, and a stepdaughter Diane Hultz.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 10 am at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS 67337.  Jamie Regis of Dearing Christian Church will officiate.  Sandy will be laid to rest next to her parents in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Coffeyville.  The family has requested Memorial Contributions be made payable to the Susan G.
