Patsy Ruth (Boswell) Fisher Nowadzky

Patsy Ruth (Boswell) Fisher Nowadzky, age 83, of Claremore, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Claremore, Oklahoma.

 

Patsy was born on January 4, 1939, in Bristow, Oklahoma to Charlie and Addie (Finney) Boswell.  She grew up in Bristow where she attended local schools.  Patsy furthered her education at Northeastern Vo-Tech.

 

On December 9, 1955 she was united in marriage to Bobby Charles Fisher.  The couple lived in several locations while Bobby was serving in the military.  After his honorable discharge they lived in Chelsea, Oklahoma.  Of that union three children were born, Renee, Denise and Michele.  Mr. Fisher preceded her in death on March 2, 2000.

 

In addition to helping take care of the home and children, Patsy worked as a medical transcriptionist for over twenty years.  She enjoyed gardening, reading and loved to cook.  Patsy was a woman with a strong Christian faith.  Throughout the years she attended Pentecostal and Baptist Churches.

 

Patsy met and fell in love with Richard Nowadzky and the two were married in May 2007.  Richard survives of the home.  Also surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Renee Dailey and husband, Ronnie of Claremore, Oklahoma, Denise Anderson and husband, Wayne of Hurst, Texas, Michele Cruse of Chelsea, Oklahoma, stepdaughter, Wendy Campbell and husband, Steven of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, half-sisters, Reba Jo Lawrence, Peggy Jackson and husband, Delbert along with numerous extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Addie Boswell, husband, Bobby Fisher, son, David Fisher and two grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning at the funeral home prior to the graveside service from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville, Kansas.  Pastor Darren Brown will officiate.
