Glenda Sue Camren

Glenda Sue Camren age 73 of Coffeyville passed away February 4, 2022 in Parsons, KS.

Glenda was born in Coffeyville on October 14, 1948 to Freeman and Ruby (Miller) Ryan. She was raised in Coffeyville and attended local schools until the 8th grade. She later earned her GED and was always proud of that achievement. Glenda was united in marriage to Thomas Zane Nelson and the couple was blessed with two daughters and a son before their marriage ended in divorce. Glenda worked several places over the years but mostly enjoyed driving a big rig for J.  B. Hunt. Glenda loved music, singing, crocheting, jewelry, and doing her makeup. She was true to herself, what you saw is what you got, she didn’t see a point in being anything than deliberate and to the point. She was member of Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville.

Glenda’s memories will live on with her children, Thomas Nelson and Aronda Nelson (Chrystal), her siblings; Ricky Ryan, Linda Ploch, Roseanna Fields, and Marla Pugh (Richard), grandchildren; Zachariah Nelson, Ariel Cousin, Belenda Camren, and Aaron Solomon, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She now rests with her parents, her sister Sandy Ryan, her daughter Marillo Clark, and great-granddaughter Gracelyn Nelson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Emmanuel Chapel at 1:00pm, visitation will be an hour prior to the service from noon until service time. Private burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials be made payable to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
