Patricia Jo Freel, age 64, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on January 10, 2022 at the CRMC Emergency Room. 

 

Pat was born on August 18, 1957, in Kanopolis, Kansas to Floyd F. and Anne Marie (Patronella Kamphuis) Kasiska.  She grew up in the Ellsworth area where she attended school and graduated from Ellsworth High School.  She furthered her education at Coffeyville Community College where she studied bookkeeping. 

 

On January 10, 1994, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Richard Freel in Miami, Oklahoma.  The couple made their home in Coffeyville.  Pat enjoyed bowling, traveling and was a lifelong member of the Methodist faith. 

 

Surviving to honor her memory are her husband, Richard Freel of the home; stepdaughter, Erica Freel of Coffeyville, Kansas, step grandchildren, Kayla and Damon Freel, a brother, Ernst Kasiska of Ellsworth, Kansas along with several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Anne Marie Kasiska and by her stepson, Bo Freel. 

 

Following Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas.  No public services are scheduled at this time.
