Freddie Lee Frederick

Freddie Lee Frederick age 73 of South Coffeyville, OK passed away on December 16, 2021 at his home with his family at his side.

 

Freddie was born on January 31, 1948 in Springfield, MO to Joseph and Helen (Fenton) Frederick. He graduated from Field Kindley High School with the class of 1966. He proudly served in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War where he was wounded, he was awarded a Purple Heart, the Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Star, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. After being honorably discharged he returned home. He began working for the railroad, Marrow Foundry, and he retired from John Deere. He was a member of the Shriners and Masons where he was a Past Master. Freddie was united in marriage to Shirley Geeding on May 2, 1985. Freddie loved spending his time with his family; he didn’t really have any hobbies because he filled his free time with family.

 

Freddie’s memories will live on with his wife, Shirley of the home, his children; Mike Reeves, his wife Cathy of Coffeyville, KS, John Reeves his wife Mary of South Coffeyville, OK, Tracy Davidson his wife Christy of Lenapah, OK, Misti Easter of Coffeyville, KS, and Dottie Decker her husband Don of Coffeyville, KS, siblings; Kathy Campbell her husband George of South Coffeyville, OK, Pamela Steele of Council Bluffs, IA, and Dale Frederick his wife Brenda of Grove, OK, 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

 

He now rests with his parents and brother Larry Frederick.
