Shirley Ann Pearson, age 75, of Coffeyville, Kansas was called Home to rest in the arms of the Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at NorthCare Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri.
Shirley was born on April 7, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Tulsa where she attended school and graduated high school. She was united in marriage to William A. Pearson, of that union two of her three children were born, Sonny and Shirl. Shirley moved to Coffeyville where she raised her three children.
She was a longtime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Coffeyville. Shirley enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, William "Sonny" Pearson and wife, Jory of Coffeyville, Shirl Marion and husband, Charles, Kasandra Nichols and fiancé, William Strickland all of Coffeyville, Kansas; MeChel-Le Pearsons, Tiahnya Anderson, Deja Pearson, Meigs Pearson, Jared, Tyler and Donte Penn, Torae and Mikayla Holbert; great grandchildren, Jacobe and Braxton Ripple, Xyler Beckett Harden along with a host of additional family and friends.
Going Home Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Coffeyville, Kansas.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice. These may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd Coffeyville, KS 67337.
