Laura Kay Heidenreich

Laura Kay Heidenreich, age 61, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Neodesha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Neodesha, Kansas. 

 

Laura was born on July 27, 1959 at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, Texas to Vernon and Peggie (Dunn) Heidenreich.  She graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado then attended Missouri State University where she earned her BA in English. 

 

Laura lived in Bolivar, Missouri then moved to the Coffeyville, Kansas area in 2006.  She worked in Administration for the Health Care industry.  Laura attended church at Holy Name Catholic Church.  She went on mission trips to Canada.  Laura could speak four different languages; she enjoyed puzzles, music, trivia and loved to travel. 

 

Surviving to honor her memory are her siblings, Jo Ann Green of Texas, Michael Burr of Michigan; nieces, Katrina Altenreid, Selene Heidenreich; and nephew, Alexander Heidenreich; several great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Peggie Heidenreich; grandfather, Merle Dunn; grandmother, Ardith Cunningham; siblings, Linda Heidenreich, Stephen Heidenreich, Matthew Heidenreich. 

 

Following Laura's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. 

 

A Rosary Vigil will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13th at Holy Name Catholic Church.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14. 2021 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father James Schibi officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville.
