Michael E. Prather, 59, of Coffeyville passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

 

He was born on October 15, 1961 at Coffeyville to Ronald and Margie (Foster) Rowe. Michael grew up and attended school in Coffeyville.

Michael was a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He enjoyed going to drag races, and cheering on his nephew Kyle’s children competing in sports.

 

He was a organ donor recipient and returned the gift by being a donor.

 

Survivors include two sons, Michael Prather of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cody Prather of Coffeyville; and two sisters, Debbie (Steve) Gillham of Coffeyville, and Ronda Rowe of Coffeyville.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Margie Rowe.

 

The family will have a memorial graveside serve on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville with his cousin, Pastor Kevin O’Connor officiating.
