Mary Jane Bromley

On February 4, 2021, MaryJane Bromley passed into her new life in the arms of her loving and devoted husband.


MaryJane was born to Ethel and Cecil Weimer in Spider Creek, Arkansas on December 28, 1941. She was 79 years old.


MaryJane attended Coffeyville area schools and held several jobs before she decided to start a family.  She married the love of her life, Willis Bromley, and together they raised three children.  She loved and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church for most of her life.


Many will remember her as a secretary at Roosevelt Junior High School, where she worked many years and enjoyed mentoring lots of students, but most will remember her as a loving and caring nurse at Coffeyville Family Practice.  Nursing was a calling and she loved taking care of her patients.  MaryJane was a natural born care-giver and took great care of all whom she came in contact with.


MaryJane was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ethel Weimer, her sisters, Nina Pringle and Carol Acridge, and three brothers, Bill Weimer, Ronnie Weimer, and Bob Weimer.
 

MaryJane is survived by her husband, Willis Bromley, her daughter and son-in-law Tonya and David Boyle of Broken Arrow, OK, her son and daughter-in-law Tony and Debbie Bromley, also of Broken Arrow, OK and her daughter and son-in-law Lori and David Maritt of Coffeyville.  She is also survived by her grandchildren:  Jenny Adams (husband Ben), Jeff Strimple (wife Carrie), Josh Maritt, Zach Maritt (wife Samantha), Cody Bromley (wife Alex), Beau Bromley (wife Kristen), and Nick Bromley, along with 8 great grandchildren with one on the way.  All who will forever be “Grandma’s Baby.”


Due to the pandemic there will be a Graveside Service at Robbins Cemetery CR 1675 west of Coffeyville on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.  Pastor Con Davis will officiate.  
 

Visitation will be on Monday, February 8, 2021 at David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register.  The family will greet friends on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
