Sharon Kay Bond

Sharon Kay Bond, age 74, of Dearing, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Miami Nursing Center in Miami, Oklahoma. 

 

Sharon was born on July 11, 1946 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Joseph and Mary (Maslin) Foulk.  She grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas where she went to school at Old Parker and in Dearing. 

 

For more than forty years she has been with the love of her life, Alvin “Sonny” Robinett.  They made their home in Dearing, Kansas.  Together they owned and operated S&S Upholstery in Dearing for over 20 years.  He preceded her in death on August 15, 2008.  For a time she also worked for Rock-A-Chair in Coffeyville. 

 

Sharon enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and quilting.  Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family and special companion, her dog Sophie. 

 

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Tina Shelby and husband, Ernie of Commerce, Oklahoma, Rick Robinett and wife, Edee, Gary Robinett and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Thomas Shelby, Holly Osborn, Kayden Shelby, Ronnie Robinett II, Karen Bobbe, Amanda Robinett, Breanna Robinett, Trevor Robinett; great grandchildren, Keilyn Osborn, Alicia Shelby and several other great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Blackburn of Dearing, Kansas, Illa Garrotte of Liberty, Kansas, Ruth Starlin of Elk City, Kansas; along with several other nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Foulk; loving husband, Sonny Robinett and brother, Kenneth Starlin. 

 

Graveside Services will be held with a tent set up at the grave on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. 

 

Friends may stop by to sign the guest register on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

 

The family suggests memorials contributions can be made to the ALS Foundation; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Rd. Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
