Otis Fred Miller, 83, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

 

Otis was born on July 13, 1937 in Caney, Kansas to Wayne and Anna (Kamps) Miller.  He earned his High School diploma and then attended Kansas State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.  While living in Caney, he worked as a Chemical Engineer for a local Petroleum company.  Throughout his years, he joined other Petroleum companies and retired.

 

On August 4, 1961 he married Delores K. Rigdon in Coffeyville, Kansas.  The couple had four children. 

 

Survivors are his wife, Delores K. Miller, and children Toni (Randy) Jones, David (Anita) Miller, Cheryl (Rob) Graziani, Jannel (Brett) Heaston; ten grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Ripley and Terry Comfort and sister's in law Viola Rigdon, Sonya Rigdon, Phyllis Rigdon and Norma Russell.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Anna Miller and by his sister, Sandra Lefebvre and his brother's in law, Dean Rigdon, Keith Rigdon, Glenn Rigdon and B.J. Russell, Beverly and Joe Halligan.
