Deborah Kay Weizenegger, 73, of Coffeyville passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

 

She was born on November 5, 1947 in Norman, Oklahoma to David and Opal (Winterbottom) Wallace. Deborah grew up and attended school in several different locations where he father was stationed with the U.S. Navy; she completed her education in Kansas City, Missouri.

 

On July 22, 1971 she married David Weizenegger in Watertown, South Dakota. Following their marriage they made their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota where they raised their family. Deborah worked for Honeywell International for many years before her retirement. They continued to live in Minneapolis for several years before moving to Coffeyville in 2015.

Deborah enjoyed crafting and spending time with family.

 

Survivors include her husband, David Weizenegger; four children, Donna Morey, Doris (Eric Kildegaard) Gorman, Denise (Tony) Tippett, and Dave (Jennie) Weizenegger all of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sisters, Julia (Dr. Warren) Blaich of Coffeyville, and Tirzah (Ken) Bartle of Ashland, Oregon; and eight grandchildren.

 

Following Deborah’s wishes cremation will take place and the family will have a memorial service at a later date in Minneapolis.
