Barbara Tillinghast, 71, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

 

She was born on March 30, 1949 at Coffeyville to William and Georgia (Trask) Tillinghast. When she was young her family lived in California, Galveston, Texas, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Minnesota returning to Coffeyville in the 1970’s.

 

She attended the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville and Mosaic. Barbara loved to travel to Branson, Missouri, buying jewelry, and singing. She loved spending time with her sister and her church family.

 

Survivors include her sister, Vicky Tillinghast of Coffeyville and numerous friends and caregivers.

 

A Memorial Service celebrating Barbara’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville with Rev. Dick Smith officiating.

 

Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
