Floyd Herriman

Floyd was born in Coffeyville on December 26, 1960 to Gary Herriman and Barbara King. Floyd and his siblings were raised in South Coffeyville, he attended school in Lenapah. After school he joined the workforce, Floyd contracted as a laborer for the refinery, Decker Construction, Good Construction, and at Purkey’s Auto Salvage. He was united in marriage to Debbie Cain and they were blessed with a daughter Gena Leann, the couple later divorced. He then married Maria Simmons they were blessed with two daughters Micha and Cheyenne, they later divorced. He has been married to Teresa Good for the past 15 years. Floyd enjoyed being outside tinkering with something, he liked cutting wood, hunting mushrooms, working on cars, and mowing the lawn. Those that love Floyd the most would say he always had a grumpy front but he cared and loved deeply for all his family and friends. He might have been like a banty rooster but he had a heart filled with love.

 

Floyd’s memories will live on with his father, Gary Herriman his wife Leanna, mother Barbara Henry her husband Paul, daughters Micha Herriman and Cheyenne Herriman, brothers, Lloyd Herriman, Doug Herriman, and Boyd Herriman, sister Darla Lohman her husband Chad, grandson Avery, bonus mom Wanda Purkey, and his dog named Fence Post and tom cat named Tom.

 

He now rests with his daughter Gena.
