Linda C. Long

Linda C. Long age 73 of Coffeyville passed away on April 7, 2020 at St Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Linda was born on January 23, 1947 in San Bernardino, California to Harold Danielson and Leah (Brooks). She was raised in the San Bernardino area and attended local schools and graduated from San Bernardino High School. She continued her education at San Bernardino Valley College before she met Ron Long who was stationed there while serving in the United States Air Force. The couple was united in marriage on January 3, 1973 in Elko, Nevada. Once Ron was honorably discharged the couple made their home in Coffeyville. In addition to caring for the children and home she found employment with Coffeyville Regional Medical Center as a Unit Secretary and then with Ford-Wulf-Bruns Colonial Chapel where she did all the calligraphy for the registry books. Linda started suffering from debilitating migraines and was forced into an early retirement. Linda loved everything about Godzilla, Harry Potter, and Mickey Mouse. She enjoyed creating computer page themes and playing games. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and a support group for migraine sufferers. Linda loved being a wife and mother; she was truly one of the most unique people to ever live.

Linda’s memories live on with her husband Ron, children; son Dion Long his wife Alyson and daughter Tamara Long, her brother James Danielson his wife Sharon, grandchildren; Austin Long, Dylan Cox, Matthew Long, Eric Long, and Alyssa Long, and 3 great-grandchildren.

She now rests with her parents.
