Beverly Sue York

Beverly Sue York, 80, of Coffeyville passed away Saturday, January 12, 2018 at Windsor Place.

She was born on July 12, 1938 at Mound City, Kansas to Herchel and Lavina (Pritchett) Robinson.  Beverly spent her early years in the Mound City area where she began school, her family later moved to Coffeyville where she completed her education graduating from Field Kindley High School.

On April 15, 1958 she married Kenneth York at Wichita, Kansas. Following their marriage they lived in Wichita until returning to Coffeyville in 1968. Beverly was a homemaker until her children were older and she began working as a Payroll Clerk at Coffeyville Regional Medical

She was a member of the Church of God. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, collecting Angels and Wizard of Oz memorabilia, playing the piano, singing, and baking bread. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
