Kansas City traveled to Seattle to take on the Seahawks, falling 20-3 as the offense was shut down at Lumen Field.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ rushing attack both struggled, as Mahomes threw an interception on a tough night through the air, while Kenneth Walker was held to his lowest rushing total of the season.
The loss marks the Chiefs’ first of the season after opening the year 5-0. Head coach Andy Reid says Kansas City struggled in all three phases of the game and could have done a better job on third down on both offense and defense.
The Chiefs return to the road next week to take on the Denver Broncos in an AFC West divisional clash. Kansas City will look to get back in the win column, with pregame coverage beginning at 2 p.m. and kickoff set for 3:25 p.m. on the Mighty 690.
