The Caney Valley Bullpups and head coach Criss Davis defeated the Riverton Rams 62-14 last Friday to improve to 7-0 on the season.

Caney Valley has scored more than 40 points in all but one game this season and has allowed more than two touchdowns in just one contest.

Davis says two things stood out to him most after Week 7: the strong play of his offensive line and the overall performance of his defense, which came up with another interception courtesy of Konner Paulie.

The Bullpups will face the Galena Lions tonight, and Davis says the focus is less on the opponent and more on how his team executes and matches up.

Caney Valley will look to finish the regular season undefeated and secure one of the top seeds in the 2A football bracket, while Galena heads on the road in search of its first win of the season. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m., with kickoff at 7 on US 98.
