The Neodesha Bluestreaks and head coach Nathan West took down Jayhawk-Linn 58-20 last Friday to improve to 6-1 on the season.

Neodesha has scored 50 or more points in back-to-back games and has reached at least 35 points in all but one contest this season.

West says his team came out and played well, even with injuries forcing underclassmen to step into bigger roles, including several players in the secondary, as the Bluestreaks controlled the game from start to finish.

After a first-quarter touchdown, Neodesha erupted for 51 points over the next 24 minutes. The Bluestreaks are preparing to face Fredonia tomorrow in their regular-season finale, and West says continuing to improve down the stretch and into the playoffs will be important.

The Bluestreaks will host their rivals, the Yellowjackets, and a win would allow Neodesha to match its best regular-season finish since 2015.
