The Caney Valley Bullpups and head coach Criss Davis are coming off a 38-14 statement win over Neodesha last Friday, improving to 5-0 on the season.
The Bullpups have never trailed this season and have taken double-digit leads into halftime in all five contests.
Caney Valley will face Cherryvale as the Bullpups return home for Homecoming tonight, and Davis says the Chargers are a team that can put points on the board. With a week full of festivities and distractions, he also says staying focused will be important for the Bullpups.
Caney Valley has won eight straight games against Cherryvale, including 13 of the past 15, and will look to make it nine straight this evening. Pregame coverage for the game begins at 6:30 p.m., with kickoff set for 7 on US 98.
