The Kansas Jayhawks and head coach Matt Ulmer saw their nine-match winning streak end Friday after a top-20 matchup against BYU ended in a 3-0 sweep for the Cougars.
The Jayhawks were coming off a ranked win against Utah in straight sets to move to 10-3 on the year, taking down the Utes 32-30, 25-20 and 26-24.
Heading into the matchup with BYU, Ulmer says he likes his team’s ability to win close sets under stress and pressure and is enjoying seeing the Jayhawks continue to improve as Big 12 play progresses.
Kansas will look to bounce back Sunday on the road against UCF, with first serve set for noon.
