The Kansas Jayhawks and head coach Lance Leipold are preparing for a Week 5 matchup with Middle Tennessee.
The Jayhawks are looking to get back to .500 after dropping two straight games to Missouri and Arizona State, with the latter taking place in London, England. The trip allowed KU a bye week to recover from the long journey overseas.
Leipold gave his players two days off before they returned to practice last week, and he says they are ready to turn the page, especially with fresh legs and fresh mindsets.
Leipold says consistency will be important for the Jayhawks moving forward, particularly when it comes to taking care of the football and tackling. He says his team sees the season's potential if they can clean up a few key areas.
The Jayhawks will play host to the Blue Raiders this Saturday, with pregame coverage beginning at 9:30 a.m. and kickoff set for 11 on Classic Hits 104.1.
