The Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks women’s soccer teams are preparing for their next matchups after opening conference play.

 

The Wildcats are off to their best start in program history under second-year head coach Colleen Corbin, opening the season 5-1-3 with a strong showing in non-conference play.

 

After winning their first four games, K-State has gone 1-1-3 since then and dropped its first Big 12 game to Houston, 3-0. The Wildcats will have a chance to bounce back tomorrow against Arizona at home, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.

 

Meanwhile, Kansas opened conference play with a 1-1 draw against Cincinnati. The Jayhawks had won three straight before facing the Bearcats last Friday, and the tie moves them to 6-2-1 on the season.

 

Kansas will also play tomorrow, hosting Arizona State as it looks to get back in the win column. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
