Central Park Sports Complex becomes the new home of Independence Community College softball.

Through a partnership with the City of Independence, the Pirates will use the new complex for practices and home games. ICC Athletic Director Melissa Anderson says the move gives fans and families an accessible place to support the Pirates while making the softball program more visible in the community.

City Finance Director Lacey Lies says the partnership supports the city’s goal of making Central Park a community gathering place for recreation and competition. Schedule information will be available at indypirates.com.
