The Independence Bulldogs are into their second week of practice under head coach Kendall Fiscus, looking to start the season with a win for the third time in Fiscus' first four years at the helm. 

 

A strong start would be welcome for the Bulldogs, who are looking to carry that momentum throughout the season and secure their first winning campaign since 2016.

 

Fiscus says the Bulldogs will have plenty of experience returning at key positions, including quarterback, running back and along the offensive and defensive lines. 

 

Fiscus also says one thing that has consistently stood out about his players is their effort, with everyone willing to put in the work regardless of position or class. 
 

Now entering his fourth season at Independence, Fiscus and the Bulldogs will look to turn their early-season success into sustained results throughout the 2026 campaign.
