The Field Kindley Track and Field team is sending several athletes to state after an impressive showing at the district meet.
Erin Lopez captured a district championship in the 100 meters and also set a personal record in the 200, earning a trip to state in both events. On the boys side, Isaiah Bowie claimed a district title in the 200 meters to punch his ticket to state, while Nate Magana also qualifies after a strong performance in the 300-meter hurdles. In the field events, Atina Colbert is headed to state in discus, joined by Davison Sutherland, who also qualified in the event. K’Shon Feeling secured a state berth in the long jump. The Nado will also be represented in the relays, with the boys 4x800 meter team advancing to the state competition.
Coffeyville now turns its focus to the state meet on May 29th and 30th, where the Nado will look to build on that momentum against the best competition in Kansas.
