An Independence High School pitcher passes a career milestone in a 14-6 win over Caney.

Senior Pitcher Kamen Sprague passed 100 career strikeouts in his second win of the season. The Bulldogs beat the Bullpups 14-6 with Sprague striking out five. On the season, Sprague has nine strikeouts and is 2-0 with a 3.39 ERA.

Sprague didn't just make an impact on the mound in the win against Caney he helped himself out offensively as well. He went 2-2 and had three RBIs. Independence is 3-1 to start the season.
