The University of Tulsa Basketball is headed to the NIT Championship game. 

 

They defeated New Mexico last night in the semifinal 74-69. Four of the five Golden Hurricane starters scored in double figures. 

 

They were strong defensively too, notching seven steals and blocking seven shots.

 

It was Tulsa’s 30th win this season, and they’ll advance to play Auburn in Sunday night’s championship game.

 

Tipoff is at 7 on Sunday, the Golden Hurricane is looking for its third NIT Championship win in as many tries, having captured titles in 1981 and 2001.
