The Field Kindley High School girls' swimming team opened its 2026 season Thursday in Wichita at the Campus Invite. The lady Nado's finished fifth, right behind Independence High School.

 

Their top result was third place in the 400 Yard Free Relay, where Makenna Meek, Wrenn Lunt, Carrington Leeds, and Leighton Tatman posted a 5:12.04 time.

 

Field Kindley came in fourth in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. Isabel Foraker, Leeds, Meek, and Carrington were the team with a time of 2:36.30.

 

Independence captured the gold in the 50 Yard Free. Esme McAfee did it in 28.38 seconds. Esme placed second in the 100 Yard Free, with a 1:06.25 time.

 

Both schools will compete next tomorrow in the Osawatomie Invite.
