Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College men's basketball team saw their quest for a region championship end in the quarterfinals, falling to Seward County 84-75 at Nellis Hall.

 

The Red Raven offense got off to a slow start, converting just one field goal in the game's first ten minutes. The Saints would open up a lead as large as 17, and lead by 15 points at the half.

 

CCC would open the second half on a 14-3 run to climb back into striking distance. However, clutch 3-pointers from Antonio Williams Jr and Brevyn Coleman allowed Seward to expand the lead back to double digits.

 

Daniel Ntambwe led the Ravens with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Jack Sorrell had 18 points and 10 assists. Rashid Kuta finished with eight points and five rebounds, dealing with cramping at times in the second half.

 

The Red Ravens drop to 21-10 on the season, and finish the campaign with a 12-5 record at Nellis Hall.
