Field Kindley High School basketball drops both games on the road at Labette County, with the Lady Nado falling 52-46 and the Nado boys 43-41.
The Lady Nado got out to a lead in the first quarter 21-18 with Kaylin Caron scoring 11 of her 24 points in the quarter. Coffeyville shot 8/13 as a team in the first. Despite the strong start the Lady Nado would cool off for the rest of the game going 7/35 in the final three quarters. Erin Lopez added 10 points. This is eight straight losses for the Lady Nado, who are now 4-11.
The Nado boys and LCHS went back and forth for four quarters. Labette was up two after the first and then both teams tied at halftime and after the third quarter before Labette would win by two. Shon Feeling led Coffeyville with 13 and Kobi Kirk added 10. This is four straight losses for the Nado boys, who are now 5-9.
Field Kindley heads to Pittsburg after a week off taking on the Purple Dragons on Friday.
