Following a sweep at home of the Riverton Rams, the Caney Bullpups look to keep momentum going as they take on the Cherryvale Chargers in homecoming basketball action tonight. It will be the Bullups' 1st district game of the season.

 

 The Lady Bullpups are coming off a 52-46 win over the Lady Rams, while the guys won  70-56.

 

 The Lady Bullpups are 7-1 on the season and 2-0 at home, while the Lady Chargers are 4-4 on the season and 1-3 on the road. The Caney girls average just over 62 PPG while the Lady Chargers average 47 PPG.

 

In the boys matchup, Caney is 7-2 on the season and 3-0 at home, while Cherryvale is 3-6 on the season and 0-4 on the road. Caney averages just over 72 PPG while Cherryvale averages just under 46 PPG. Their last meeting was in February of 2025, when Caney won 70-19, inlcuding a 45-8 halftime lead.

 

 Pregame begins around 5:45 with the girls game tipping off at 6:00 p.m. on U-S 98. Homecoming coronation will take place during halftime of the boys game.
