Four quarters wasn't enough as the Field Kindley High School boy's basketball team beats Independence 60-59 in double overtime.

The Nado and Bulldogs played in an ideal rivalry matchup with Independence never leading by more than eight and Coffeyville by more than four. Indy got up to a 10-2 lead in the first before KK Austin would take things over for the Nado. Austin would score 11 in the second as Coffeyville took at one point lead at halftime. Austin would add ll more in the third. There were numerous lead changes and ties and after Javen Colbert hit two free throws to tie things up at 45 the rivalry game headed into overtime.

Coffeyville would find themselves up three with nine seconds left in the first OT when Colbert would hit his first three of the game and tie things up for the second time. In the second OT, Kshon Feeling would hit one of two free throws to put Coffeyville up by one. Indy put the ball in one their best players hands with Kellen Lanning looking for the win with seven seconds left. Lanning finished with 26 for Indy an Colbert added 13. Austin led all scorers with 40. The Nado are back in action on Friday against Parsons.
