K-State Falls to BYU

 

K-State Men's Basketball falls to BYU over the weekend.

 

A.J. Dybantsa scored 24 points in his Big 12 debut, helping No. 10 BYU defeat Kansas State 83-73. Robert Wright III added 18 points for the Cougars, who extended their longest winning streak since 2010 to 10 games. Richie Saunders contributed 13 points, and Keba Keita grabbed 16 rebounds. P.J. Haggerty led the Wildcats with 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists. The game marked a rare matchup between BYU and Kansas State, featuring a showdown between top scorers Dybantsa and Haggerty. BYU maintained control in the second half, preventing a Kansas State comeback. The wildcats play next on Wednesday when they take on Arizona. Coverage starts at 7 p.m. on The Mighty 690.
