The Western Kentucky Hill toppers cruised to a 27-16 win over Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl.

 

Southern Miss led 13-6 at the half but the Hilltoppers would make the most of their ground game in the second half with three different running backs rushing for touchdowns.

 

The Ohio Bobcats beat the UNLV Rebels 17-10 in the Frisco Bowl.

 

The Bobcats jumped out to an early 2-touchdown lead and never looked back, leading 14-3 at the half. Each team would add another touchdown in the second half but it was not enough for UNLV to overcome the deficit. Ohio QB Parker Navarro would run for one touchdown while running back Sieh Bangura would add the second.
